To raise funds for a powerful film project to raise awareness about our war veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Charlie Bewley is hosting a ONCE in a lifetime opportunity for Twilight fans! The chance to spend an entire evening at a small, private bowling party with several of your favorite Twilight stars!!!!! 

Charlie Bewley ("Demetri" of the Volturi guard), Daniel Cudmore ("Felix" of the Volturi guard), and Bronson Pelletier ("Jared" of the Wolf Pack) are already confirmed to attend, but there will be ADDITIONAL surprise vampires, as well. There will also be food, drinks, and prizes, as well as BOWLING!

‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ worldwide release dates announced

A list of worldwide release dates for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 have made their way online thanks to IMDb.

The final Twilight film will largely debut in the month of November, but Hong Kong and Japan will have to wait until December. Several countries will actually be getting the movie a couple days earlier than the United States. Thanks to The Examiner for this simple round-up:

November 14th – Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland (Italian and French speaking regions).
 

November 15th – Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, New Zealand, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Thailand, and the Ukraine.
 

November 16th – Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Finland, Ireland, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Vietnam.
 

November 22nd – Armenia, Germany, Singapore, and Switzerland (German speaking region).
 

December 20th – Hong Kong.
 

December 28th – Japan.

Late last month we learned that the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 world premiere would be held in Los Angeles. What’s all the fuss? Is this #Robstengate

In the past week pictures, and now statements have “been made” in regards to what I am now calling Robstengate.

The tabloids have posted pictures and then all the news stations and the rest of the gossip magazines followed suit that Kristen Stewart, our beloved Bella has cheated on Robert Pattinson. In rebuttal, Kristen herself has posted an apology for cheating on Rob. Can we believe any of it?

I mean I have seen the pictures in question and there is a thing call Photoshop, so are these pictures credible? I have seen a lot of our fandom break down these pictures pixel by bloody pixel in hopes that they can in fact find the truth out themselves. But I have a better question… Why do we care?

I love Rob, loved him since he was Cedric Diggory. I am a fan of Kristen, not a Krisbian at all, but a fan of her work. Why are we so obsessed as fandom that they may no longer a couple? How does that change how we feel of them as actors? They are still going to act, in many other roles. Rob will soon be seen in ‘Cosmopolis’, and KStew has other projects on the horizon as well.

I have also seen the people taking sides? Why on earth would we do that? They are actors that fell in love. It is quite common of an occurrence.  Michael Sheen was once in love and had a child with his co-star Kate Beckinsale. Anyone take a side on that or better yet care that she is now with the director of her very lucrative franchise ‘Underworld’? The answer is no.

Fan sites have been deleted as well as twitters and for what? 

                      

Fans have declared sides and for what?

Fans have said they forgive HER, and for what?

This is utter insanity ladies. Twilight fans for the most part have a bad rep for being young and immature and we are just playing into that image that they have. Stop taking sides. This didn’t happen to us. Why the insanity?

Can someone please explain why everyone is crying and so upset over this?

People are so easily ready to blame Kristen, what happen to blaming the other man, Rupert? How come no one is blaming him or bad mouthing him? He was there and IS partially if not all to blame for Kristen’s indiscretion.  After all, “A prick has no conscience.”

In closing, just please stop the insanity and grow up. They or she doesn’t need our forgiveness. We fell in love with them both because of Twilight, and if we think they are talented, we can and still should support them NO MATTER WHAT! She isn’t asking for our forgiveness she is asking for his. He is the ONLY one she needs to account for any of this NOT US. She isn’t dating us, nor did she ever.  Just please let it be and move on. I assure you the world will still revolve despite #RobstenGate .

‘An Open letter to Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate and Creation Entertainment’

I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga and there is no hiding my love for the bad boys of the Volturi and yes I know the books do not revolve around them, but it’s a shame when they are just plain neglected. They are part of the books, may not an integral part of the entire saga, but dare I say they are a huge focal point of the last book and more importantly the last movie ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’?

I know I am right about that, I did read the books and with Nessie being considered an Immortal Child and the fear of the Volturi coming and being prepared for a fight, why oh why were none of the Volturi at the Comic Con panel in San Diego a couple of weeks back?

We have all sorts of new vampires that are being introduced and they were on hand, yet sadly Summit/Lionsgate dropped the ball and did not have ANY of the Volturi members there to represent our beloved saga.  Well boo on you!

It’s almost like they are an afterthought. We get promos of the Cullen’s (which I am not complaining about) and always the wolves, now we have seen a glimpse of some of the Nomads and the Amazon, but sadly not a picture of Aro, or Marcus, or even the sexy guards, Felix and Demetri ( Daniel Cudmore and Charlie Bewley). Where are they at and when can we finally expect to see them released?

Daniel Cudmore was at #SDCC this year promoting his role of Master Chief for Halo 4, and I am sure he would have been happy to represent both.  Did you even ask him to make an appearance?  By reading his very sarcastic words about “look at all the Volturi promo pictures and posters” I am going to say NO, you didn’t even bother.

Some of us just want to see more and with the upcoming film the last installment, I think it would be prudent for you to show the Volturi the justice and courtesy and get to pimping and promoting them.

There are more fantastic vampires being introduced and we would like to see more of them in the way of promo and pictures and even merchandise we can purchase! We would love to be able to be able to get some #Denali goodies and #Amazon merchandise. There is more to this last movie then just the Cullen’s.

For most of us (speaking for myself) we did fall in love with Edward and Bella and got sucked into the love story of them both. But as the story went on and we got to meet new people, Jacob, Aro, Felix new loves and maybe some obsessions were formed. Edward will always be my first love, he was the one that gave me chills up my spine, but then you introduced us to the Volturi. We got to see more of them in the movies and got introduced to them in more detail then we had in the books and for me a love was born.  I am not alone in this I assure you.

Fan Fictions were born dedicated to the Volturi and other covens as well.

The public wants more than the basics. We want more covens and pictures and merchandise!

I was lucky to meet the very awesome and sweet Judi Shekoni in Orlando via one of the many Twilight Conventions I have attended provided by Creation Entertainment, I would love to see more pictures and promos of her coven as well. I am very much #TeamAmazon and #TeamVolturi

To the lovely people at Creation Entertainment:

With the conventions coming to end (which I am not understanding why) GIVE US MORE MERCHANDISE from some of the other covens beyond the Cullen’s and the Wolves. You are having Mr. Christian Camargo at New Jersey in October, how about some #TeamDenali merchandise?  Also Daniel Cudmore and Charlie Bewley will be there, any chance of having some #TeamVolturi merchandise? I have creation spendable cash I need to use! While we are on the subject of the Volturi can you PLEASE get with the people at Summit/Lionsgate and get the updated pics of their characters for the posters that you will be hanging and ultimately auctioning off? You slacked and ONLY had Dan’s pictures of Felix from NEW MOON not even the Eclipse pictures in Nashville in April of 2012!

Please consider ALL the fans and ALL the vampires and ALL the covens when releasing the last installment of the movie. We want to see more than just the basics!

Fifty Shades of FUCKED up!

I started this blog for my ranting, and posting pictures and stories for all that had to do with Twilight and of course my love of hockey.  I however never thought that this would be the place I came to, to have to defend, explain or identify myself when I am missing.

But it is my platform, so I do choose to do that now.

I discovered Twilight late, I found it when my then boyfriend’s father passed away and I was told,” this is the dirtiest clean book series you will ever read”. Breaking Dawn was not out yet, and I was reading them feverishly they became my escape from reality.  It became so addictive that I passed them on to anyone and everyone; you would have thought I was trying to win a grand prize for getting people “converted” to Twilightism. 

Soon after I found the series I was convinced to join Twitter. I was told, “it was the instant gratification that you couldn’t get from Facebook”. Well, in most of my travels and since I was about 16, I became Absolut with something after it so for my love the Absolut Vodka ads and my love and passion for Twilight, I merged them both and became AbsolutTwilight.

It was used mainly and primarily for my personal account. I had no idea that three years later I would be blogging about Twilight and quite frankly anything that tickles my fancy.

Shortly after joining twitter, I saw my friends talking to different Twilight characters, a Felix and a Demetri and an Edward Cullen.  Curiosity got the best of me and, questioned, talked, swooned and flirted my way down the path known as Role play.

We can safely say an obsession was born.

Role play is not as dirty as you make it sound. Don’t get me wrong it can be; if done properly –winks– but it is all about creative expression. No one on twitter or that has read Twilight thinks twice about reading any fan fics, or looks down at anyone for writing them, Role-play or RP is nothing different, it’s about making your favorite story or stories come to life.

Role play became my escape, borderline obsession even. Real life can be a drag when you are taking care of your disabled mother and do not go out as often as you like. You can control your destiny and be immortal and invincible so why not.

Who I RP is not important, I want to keep that part away from my personal life. I can say I have played one character for about two years; she is my main love and passion. I have played others as well, but none are as much fun as this character I have molded and made my own.  Many in the RP community, which is not as big as one would think; and I am sure you know someone who plays, have that one character that either they can relate to, or just enjoy playing to the fullest.

Rping became almost a way of life for me and I even started my own RP family. I am very proud of the fact that is has been around for two years now. We have all become like a family, -laughs- a dysfunctional family at times, but a family none the less.  We are a very tight knit group and we are very protective, sometimes a little over protective of each other, but the love and loyalty that we share or shared was and is genuine.

I am very happy to say that since I made my family I have made some very good friends along the way and even picked a boyfriend through it ( I did NOT RP to find him, love happened on the way).  I cherish the bonds created and the love and loyalty is like nothing that I have ever experienced in my life, and I am blessed to call Heidi, Jane, Bella, Marcus, Liam and my beloved Demetri my friends in the real world as well.

When a tragedy strikes one of us, it affects us all.

We were rocked when one of our family members had to take a leave absence from our site, for personal reasons.  That person was our collective mojo if you will, but I will get back to this, I missed a few steps with me along the way (that seems to be my theme, missing steps).

Back in September my world was rocked when my uncle who is my world, had a massive stroke.  It was really touch and go with him for a while. I am the head of the family legally speaking and I had to make some rough and tough decisions.  I have never been more thankful for my family the ones that I have come to love from RP that have crept into my real life. They really held me together and were my rock.

I’d be lost without their constant love and support. Their love came in various ways and times as we are all scattered over the globe and they seemed to know when I needed them and popped on or texted or what have you. I will never be able to repay them for all their love and support, I am truly blessed.

I really fell back on RP during this time as I needed a major escape from reality and to have some sort of fun. My days were filled with doctor visits, hospitals and a shit load of legal and financial meetings. RP was the only thing to save me mentally. I became more obsessed with it by the day. I was too tired to go out and this was the only entertainment I had to keep me sane and busy.

I wasn’t really sane though, as I was losing myself and focusing on the every move of everyone I came in contact with in RP. Some were good and some were bad. But I had my main group of lovelies to keep me together.

This brings me back to my last point of our world being rocked.

When my dear friend, left us for the real world, I was lost. I became more distracted. I never realized how much I was dependant on her for my sanity. I was very greedy. I DMed and called and texted like a good friend, but I was no help to her.  I was losing myself faster and faster and sinking and I couldn’t be the friend I needed to be for her.  While she was going through this, I was personally struck two more times. Once again my uncle needed me, 3 seizures and a heart condition later, I am hitting rock bottom.

She came back and I bickered and yelled and climb on her every word and not in the good way. What’s that saying you only hurt those that you are close to?  That is on miserable saying if you ask me.  I adore my friendship with her and many other and I am pushing them away, and it’s just not right.

Friendship is supposed to be give and take and I seem to only be taking and pushing away. I need to learn to be a better listener and a better friend, not only to those around me, but to myself as well.

I am taking some time away from blogging and RP to find me again to be happy with me once more. I am sorry I cannot be around more often than I am at the moment, but I am losing it or lost it.  I have said for years now, when RP isn’t any fun anymore, it’s time to leave it, but the junkie in me just can’t bear to leave the characters behind.  So my own leave of absence is in order.

Twilight and RP have been all consuming of me for some time and I need to once regain my happiness and make time for me and -gasps- even leave my house more often.

Blogging is my passion, but if I am not posting as often as I was, there is the reason. My escape is not my escape but almost a prison, and that needs to change and improve.

Improving myself will help me better a person and a better friend to all.

Thanks for understanding and all your love and support.  I will be around, just not as much as I think I need to be.
